On January 24 and January 31, 2026, StAnD partner NUCLIO organized two StAnD multiplier events, at the Biological Park in Vila Nova de Gaia, and at Helena Cidade Moura secondary school in Cascais, as part of the teacher training workshop “Da Terra Ao Espaço” (From Earth to Space).
In total, 19 Portuguese teachers were introduced to the StAnD project and its opportunities, learning how to use its resources to bring the theme of Planetary Defence into the classroom. This included being a student again, and they were encouraged to try out many tools and techniques.
The teachers will continue to work with the StAnD project during the next workshop sessions. In total, the training workshop will offer six 2-hour online sessions and one 4-hour face-to-face session in late May.
