Duration: 25h
Join us in Greece for the StAnD Summer School 2024!
The school is developed in the context of the project: Students as Planetary Defenders – StAnD.
Its main objectives are:
- to introduce teachers to STEΑM activities related to meteors, asteroids and Planetary Defence
- to provide them resources and support to implement the activities with their students, and to create their own educational material.
The STEAM activities can engage your students in a search for small bodies in our Solar System, like asteroids, meteors and micrometeorites. You and your students will have the opportunity to study the meteor phenomena from the very origins: their parental bodies (asteroids and comets), what happens when these bodies meet the Earth (meteors) and, finally, what remains of the original objects (meteorites).
Join us and learn how to bring the subject of Planetary Defence to your school!
This school is included in the 2024 training activities of the European School Innovation Academy – ESIA
You’ll will be able to REGISTER and find all the information about the course, including full description, methodology, program, fees and how to apply for Erasmus+ funding in the ESIA website:
