During the event participants explored how meteors are observed and tracked and how scientists identify potential meteorite landing areas. The activities showcased the work of the PRISMA network which monitors the night sky and supports meteorite recovery efforts.

Researchers from INAF and educators worked closely with visitors, creating an interactive environment  that made planetary defence accessible  and engaging for all. The meteor hunt also highlighted the importance of citizen science, encouraging participants to contribute to research through meteor observations and reporting.
