In early January this year high school students benefitted from two lectures on astrometry and photometry for the extra-curricular Astronomy and Astrophysics course from INAF – Osservatorio Astrofisico di Torino.

Daniele Gardiol, Dario Barghini and Chiara Lamberti gave the lectures and presented PASCAL (PRISMA All-Sky Camera Analysis Laboratory). PASCAL is a software tool developed by researchers of the PRISMA Network as part of the Erasmus+ project StAnD.

Students had the opportunity to use PASCAL during the lectures, hands-on experience being at the heart of the StAnD project.
