StAnD partners after the first day of discussion in Sète, France.

Representatives from all StAnD project partners (INAF, NUCLIO, EA, FTP-Europlanet and COSPAR) met for the third transnational project meeting in Sète, France, hosted by COSPAR.

During the meeting, marking the halfway point of the project, partners took stock of the impact the project is already making, given the interest received from many countries around the world, and in particular the success of the StAnD website. We compared notes about how the activities are being used in schools, heard the latest results of the asteroid campaigns, and are excited to confirm the launch of the StAnD Massive Open Online Course for teachers this month.

We also finalised details for the second StAnD Summer School. We’ll reveal the programme very soon, so please stay tuned! In the meantime, we invite you to share our news and encourage your teaching colleagues to sign up for this amazing project to help your students look to the stars while defending our planet.
