Great news for aspiring astronomers and planetary defenders! The spectacular comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) is currently visible in our night sky.

The StAnD project was featured at the European Researchers Night 2014 in Greece and Portugal.

The small asteroid 2024 PT5 will remain under the gravitational pull of our planet for two months before leaving. Unfortunately, it won’t be visible to the naked eye.

We’re excited to announce the Asteroid Search Campaigns for StAnD.

During StAnD, students will have a chance to hunt for micrometeorites. Each participating school will receive a micrometeorite toolkit, like the one in this photo.

On 24 July, the Italian StAnD Team held the first Multiplier Event in Turin.
